10 AM - 1 PM Cataloguing Cultural Objects

Introduction to CCO
This presentation will provide an overview of CCO, introducing each chapter and its elements through three related works. Examples will demonstrate minimally catalogued records as well as more completely catalogued records in an effort to show how the guidelines may be applied in different contexts. It will will serve as the foundation for the discussion session to follow. If you have not yet read the most recent draft of CCO (February 2005), you will likely find it useful to read at least "Part 1: General Guidelines" (a downloadable PDF) before the meeting.

CCO Discussion Session
Bring you questions, concerns, and suggestions for an interactive session with Elisa Lanzi, one of the editors of CCO, exploring the guidelines in more detail.

1 - 2 PM Lunch
We will offer a lunch time with no programming, so that members may continue to discuss CCO, catch up with colleagues, or just take a break.
