I have been writing about lesbian art and artists since the late l970s. My
new book, Lesbian Art Issues: Variations on Queerly Appealing Themes, will
be published by The Haworth Press, Inc. I am now in the process of
acquiring permission to publish 38 images by various lesbian artists.
Although many contemporary artists have been generous in waving their fees,
estates and libraries are charging as much as $250.00. If you would like to
support publication of this book, I would be grateful for any money you
