in)

Directions to campus

If you are arriving by Amtrak:
The Amtrak station is a 10-minute walk from the
eastern edge of campus. It is located at 840 Second
St., near G Street, in downtown Davis. Walk west down
Second Street for ca. 7 blocks until it ends on campus
at A Street. Continue west on the bike path until you
hit the Quad and Memorial Union.

If you are driving:
From 80 west-bound
Take Interstate 80 east toward Sacramento. As you
approach the 113 turnoff, you will reach the UC Davis
exit. The exit will lead you to the intersection with
Old Davis Road. Turn right on Old Davis Road and
follow it past South-Gate Visitor Center, parking lots
and eventually the Mondavi Center where Old Davis Road
makes a left. Turn right at the stop sign and follow
the Old Davis Road to the next stop sign at A Street.
Visitor parking is available here on your right.
From 80 east-bound
Exit at either Richards Blvd or UC Davis. Richards
Blvd. will be the first exit. Go left onto Richards
Blvd, through the intersection at Olive Drive, under
train tracks and make right on First Street at next
intersection. First Street ends on campus, turning
into A Street. Make a left on A Street for Visitor
Parking at A Street and Old Davis Road.
Parking:
Visitor parking is $6 per day and identified as C
parking. If you are willing to walk, there are spaces
available near the South Gate Entry (lots VP1 and VP2)
which are $2 per day. I recommend parking in lots VP 5
or VP 15. VP 5 is closest to the Art Building where
our meeting concludes and VP 15 is closest to the
Memorial Union where we will meet in the morning. If
these lots are full, there is additional parking near
the South Entry.

Campus map:
http://vtour.ucdavis.edu/vs_pages/vtour/maps/map_overview.htm
Our meeting begins in the Garrison Room on the second
floor of the Memorial Union. The MU is on the
north-east end of campus (F-14 on the map linked
above), near the campus Bookstore and Predock's
Social Science and Humanities Building (aka the "Death
Star"). The Art Building is near the eastern edge of
campus (I-15 on the map).
