Of course, I still use many print ref. sources for auction prices.  I cannot afford to acquire all the current online databases for such access nor can I justify it.  I do occasionally contact the Indianapolis Museum of Art Library if our local sources are not adequate or recommend that a patron do so.   BJ

Subject: [ARLIS-L] print reference books

Greetings:

How many of you art museum library folks (or others) still use print tools such as
Gordons to help people assess value of art works?

How many of you use electronic tools (auction databases, etc.) instead?  If so,
which do you use most frequently?

Your help is much appreciated.
