Public Services Librarian C
The Morton R. Godine Library seeks a part-time Public
Services Librarian to join a team environment. This
position has primary responsibilities in the areas of
library instruction and reference and secondary
responsibilities for other public services functions
such as circulation and supervising student library
employees. With the other Public Services staff, this
position contributes to the planning and coordinating
of all departmental activities. Support for
professional development. Part-time, per diem, 18
hours per week, 10 months per year (August through
May). Negotiable schedule covering weekday core
hours. $30/hour.
Required qualifications for this position: MLS or
equivalent, a minimum of 1-2 years of professional
experience in key areas of responsibility. Experience
with public services policies and practices.
Background in the visual arts (BFA, BA in Art
Education or Art History, and/or advanced arts-related
degree) desirable. Resume review will begin May 20,
