For those of you planning to attend the Boot Scootin' fundraising event and looking for the right attire - look no further. Sadly, Palace Boot Shop, a long-standing establishment in downtown, and the last of a dying breed, is closing after 86 years. As a result, they're having a sale on all footwear between now and July.

If you wonder about quality, this is where Paul Newman gets his boots made. They carry commercial brands, as well as handcrafted ones.
