Has anyone subscribed to Emporis yet? I haven't been able to find any
reviews of it yet and am wondering what other librarians think of this
database: http://www.emporis.com/en/
One of our PhD students desperately wants us to get this. There is a
free online version but one of the benefits of the subscribed version
seems to be the ability to export the building data into Excel. The free
version gives quite a lot of data on buildings and other structures, but
the subscribed version gives even more. I haven't had time to
thoroughly review it though. Any comments on this from others will be
greatly appreciated.
