hello all,
thanks to those who offered to share a room for the conference-all
worked out, and i am grateful.
after looking at the costs of the shuttle from the airport to the hotel,
and passing out, i thought i'd suggest that if people are
arriving tomorrow late afternoon, early evening( my flight from chicago
gets there just before 6..) maybe it might be a good idea for people to
keep an eye out for other arlis'ers at the ground transport area, so we
could share cabs--no idea if this will be cheaper, but it --should--be...
the one quote i saw said that the transport from the International
airport to the hotel was $35--i don't know if that is one way or not.
lotta money for 25 miles...
