This is just a gentle reminder that setting your subscription on "nomail" while you are away for any length of time is a benefit for all other subscribers who post in your absence, especially if you have automatic out-of-office replies.  When you have this automatic reply set on your email and one of the ARLIS-L subscribers posts a message.  They will receive the auto reply from you and everyone else who has this feature set.  So it is a courtesy to all list posters to set your subscription on nomail.

With the VRA conference starting up soon and the ARLIS/NA conference not far behind, I figured this was a good time for this reminder.  The address for sending changes in settings and how to send that change can be found at: http://www.arlisna.org/arlisl.html.  The command line is:  SET ARLIS-L NOMAIL.  The command line to reset your subscription for receiving mail is: SET ARLIS-L MAIL.
