Houston-bound Conference Attendees,

The city is in the peak of the spring season for you to enjoy.
Although the azaleas are gone, the wisteria are in full bloom and the
hibiscus are responding well to the increase in sunlight and
temperature, with some lingering crabapple and redbud peppering the
cityscape. And of course there are the bluebonnets and other spring
wildflowers making their appearances.

The weather could not be better: temperatures in the low 80s for the
next two days, then low- to mid-70s for the duration of the
conference with little chance of rain toward and throughout the
weekend.

Although humidity will be low by city standards, it may be noticeable
to you. Also, because we are at the height of spring, our tree pollen
count is high and grass pollen count is moderate. Not to worry, as
most places are already running their air-conditioning units. A
jacket or sweater would be all that is needed for nighttime.

Please take a moment to visit your favorite weather website to check
Houston's weather as your travel date approaches.
