On
Saturday evening from 7:30pm-9:00pm, right before the Welcome Party,
Dr. Fred Heath, Vice Provost and Director of University of Texas Libraries
will speak about the
implications of the digital library for collection development, research, and
teaching in the arts environment. His talk is entitled
Transforming Research Libraries: Teaching and Learning in the Digital
Age. Dr. Heath is a true visionary in this exciting time for
libraries. In addition, he is a dynamic and engaging
speaker.
