Internships--National Museum of Women in the Arts (D.C.)

National Museum of Women in the Arts

Database of Women Artists Web Access Project Internships (2)

The Library and Research Center at the National Museum of Women in the Arts is offering two Internships to assist with the Database of Women Artists Web Access Project. This is an opportunity for college and graduate students considering a career in museums, libraries or new media to gain real-world experience working on an innovative project that aims to increase accessibility via the internet to the museum’s archival resources. Over the course of the internship(s), interns can expect to gain valuable knowledge about women artists, both contemporary and historical; increase skills in Information Technology and research; and experience working as part of a dynamic project team. More information about the NMWA Library and Research Center can be found on our website at http://www.nmwa.org/library.
