Baruch College recently opened a "vertical campus" building -- 14 stories. The elevators only stop every 3 floors and students are expected to use escalators or stairs for intervening floors. A Google search on "baruch elevators kohn" (architects = Kohn Pedersen Fox) yielded a mixed bag of results. The most relevant but general description I found was: http://www.dasny.org/dasny/news/2001/010807Baruc.shtml Hope this helps.
