The ARLIS/SC Board is pleased to announce the winner of this year's
Judith A. Hoffberg Travel Award, Kathleen Svetlik.
Kathleen graduated June 2004 from UCLA's Department of Information
Studies. Since then she has been working as a research assistant at the
Getty Research Institute and as a reference librarian at the Claremont
Colleges. She is a member of ARLIS/NA and ARLIS/SC and has become a
familiar face at many of the chapter events over the past year. More she
recently joined the executive planning committee for the chapter's
Artists' Book Conference May 21-24, 2005.
We are pleased to be able to help support Kathleen to attend her first
ARLIS/NA conference. Please welcome and congratulate her if you see her
at the conference.
