For those mystery-readers attending the Houston conference, this is an invitation to gather for dining and mystery talk and optional book exchange on the evening of Monday, April 4. Let's plan to rendezvous at 8:15pm near the registration desk of the conference hotel. Restaurant TBA. (Restaurant suggestions are welcomed.) All are invited! Come prepared to tell about your favorite reads of the year, and bring a book to trade if you like. I'll post reminder information on the notice board at the conference. Note that the conference also includes a Monday afternoon session on "Art in Fiction" (co-moderated by Amy Navratil Ciccone and Shannon Van Kirk, known to regular mystery diners for their breadth of knowledge on art mysteries). We'll have that session to discuss over dinner as well. And finally, Jill Cogen has compiled a list of Houston mysteries on our behalf. That will be forwarded shortly. Many thanks, Jill! Hope to see you all in Houston. --Linda Linda Duychak, Art Reference Librarian Kohler Art Library Univ. of Wisconsin-Madison __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] For information about joining ARLIS/NA see: http://www.arlisna.org//membership.html Send administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner (Kerri Scannell) at: [log in to unmask]
