It was based on an actual 19th (French?) painting I believe--an earlier
ad from the 1950's shows the painting in a small frame. The later ads
"recreated" the painting and I think I remember a live action commercial
as well. I still can't put my finger on the title and artist, ("goopy"
and "dreck" not being viable search terms). ;-)
