To all Arlis Members who are attending ALA Mid-Winter meeting in Boston We would be pleased to welcome you to our bookstore in Boston's South End. We collaborate with the Mario Diacono Gallery, which shows cutting-edge contemporary works of art in the front window of our storefront space. This exciting and changing neighborhood, known as SOWA (South of Washington) is home to many galleries showing contemporary art. Come browse our shelves of out-of-print books on art, architecture, photography, decorative arts and archaeology. Our display cases present rarities of the 20th-century avant-garde, from highlights of Italian futurism, Dada and Surrealism to Fluxus, as well as rare books with earlier imprints of the 16th-19th centuries. We are open 9 - 6 Monday-Friday and 11 - 5 on Saturdays, and look forward to seeing you in Boston. We would also love to hear from visiting Arlis friends in advance, so that we know how many of you might be around! Let us know if we can be helpful with directions and public transportation advice. Send me an e-mail at [log in to unmask], otherwise I look forward to seeing everyone in Houston!
