Over 8,000 catalogues added to Art Sales catalogues
online
This
week, IDC Publishers has added 8,090 art sales catalogues from the period
1826-1860 to its collection of Art Sales Catalogues online. This completes part
II of Art Sales Catalogues online. The total number of full text catalogs
available has more than doubled and is now 13,323. The next update
is expected Summer 2005.
Search
options
The
database can be searched by Lugt number, date, place, provenance, content,
auction house and existing copies. An extra feature is the libraries database.
This gives the opportunity to search through libraries with holdings of art
sales catalogues.
