The Arkansas Arts Center has an opening for the following position.
Title: P/T Librarian
Reports To: Curator of Education
Summary of
Duties: Responsible for the organization and procedural maintenance of the AAC's book, periodical and catalogue collection. Maintain proper information system for cataloging, including participation in CALS online catalog. Assist public and AAC staff with research needs. Maintain archival records and items associated with special library collections. Supervise volunteer library assistants. Assist curatorial and education departments in selecting and securing new library acquisitions. Prepare and oversee library budget. Serve as liaison to CALS. Other duties as assigned by AAC management.
Education
and/or
Experience: MLS or equivalent experience required.
Art history degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Two years library experience required.
