Subject: Fwd: ALA Library Career Recruitment Forum

Hello CODers, DivCouncilors, SACers, Spectrum Scholars and friends:

One of the most critical issues facing the profession is recruitment, specifically recruitment to reflect the ethnic, ethno-linguistic and racial diversity of the nation's shifting demographics.

The Office for Human Resources, Development, and Recruitment (HRDR) will sponsor an important Recruitment Assembly at Midwinter on Friday, January 14. It behooves those of us who are concerned with this issue to attend. This is a free event. Read below for more information or contact Darlena Davis at [log in to unmask]. Attendance should equip us to help lead our organizations towards best practices in recruiting and retaining a resonant, relevant and resource-ready workforce.

See you there!
