Dear ARLIS list members,

 

I would be interested in knowing if anyone, particularly at small academic or art and design school libraries has a policy regarding annual amnesty days or other techniques that encourage students (and faculty) to return late books that might even be billed as lost.  I was wondering if such techniques work, etc.

I would welcome any thoughts.
