I am pleased to announce that the interactive Getty Latin American Travel Awards application form is now available online. Description: The award covers the conference registration fee and a cash award, up to $2675, for travel, hotel, and additional conference-related expenses. Eligibility: Art and architecture librarians, art information professionals, and visual resources curators residing in Latin America. Purpose: To encourage professional development through interaction with ARLIS/NA colleagues and conference participation. Deadline: Dec. 1, 2004. This award, the largest ever given to ARLIS/NA, will provide an increased level of diversity and exemplifies the conference theme of "Beyond Borders: Collaborative and Explorative Ventures in Arts Information."
