Discuss the process and practice of artist’s books today, highlighting conceptual uses of traditional techniques. View and handle extensive examples of contemporary books in intimate settings, both at NYU and in local public collections. Study varied approaches to the book as art, including implications and considerations of unique books, editioned books, and facsimile, or trade editions.
