I am pleased to announce that the Fall Delaware Valley Chapter meeting will take place on Tuesday, October 26th at the Delaware College of Art and Design. The program will center around library renovation and relocation projects and will include presentations by Judy Donovan, Director of DCAD, and Kraig Binkowski, Head Librarian at the Delaware Art Museum.

The schedule is as follows:

12:30 P.M.  Lunch  (provided by the College--see below)
1:30        Business meeting, including election of a
             Vice-Pres./Pres.-elect for 2005-2006.
2:15        Jim Lecky, Director of DCAD, will talk about
             the recent building project, which included
             the library
2:40        Kraig Binkowski, Delaware Art Museum, will
             talk about the Museum's current library
             building project.
3:00        Judy Donovan will conduct a tour of DCAD's
             new library facility.

About lunch:  Judy ( [log in to unmask] ) must know
              how many people to expect for lunch
              in order to make arrangements
              with the caterer.  If you want to have
              the catered lunch, which will include
              sandwiches, a beverage, fruit and cookies,
              please contact her ASAP. Please also tell
              her if you wish to have a vegetarian sandwich.
              THE DEADLINE FOR LUNCH RESERVATIONS IS
              TUESDAY, OCT. 19.

If you don't want the catered lunch, there's no need
to contact Judy.
