Art Image Program Grove Art Online begins a new art image program to illustrate important articles with key images in art history. Now, in response to overwhelming user demand to integrate images with articles, color images will be available through hyperlinks within the text of articles for the first time. Users can find illustrations for major works of art in articles such as: African American Art, Cassatt, Delacroix, Michelangelo, and more. The integrated images will be accessible from the body of the article and from the Illustrations tab in the relevant articles. Grove Art Online will continue to direct users to a variety of online image resources including Art Resource, Bridgeman Art Library and links to museums and galleries. View these art image collections at http://www.groveart.com/grove-owned/art/image_collections.html. Users will also notice that we have consolidated the external image options to offer one single Image Links tab at the article level. Now all image link options are displayed in one location to make it even easier to navigate from text to images. See, for instance, the article on Michelangelo for an example of how the new tabs appear. http://www.groveart.com/shared/views/article.html?section=art.057716&s ubview=article_web_links.
