Sara: The Time-Life series "The Encyclopedia of Collectables" is one of the nicest visual surveys of popular culture items that I have run across. I had it transferred to our art library years ago and keep it in our reference collection. Although it's far from comprehensive, it's a delightful smattering of realia from the last two centuries. Drama people love it for objects found in period environments. You should check there. The closest I've come is some articles on WilsonWeb which I found under the subject PREMIUMS/COLLECTORS AND COLLECTING. The only books I've found are the price guide sort of books. When I was little and went to the dentist we got to choose a free little rubber animal - wish I had them now! Thanks very much - Sara ------------------------------------------- Sara J.
