I would like to share with you a recently published online resource that includes a lot of highly useful information for all of us who work with art images. This article (http://www.infotoday.com/searcher/sep04/mattison.shtml) written by David Mattison, Access Archivist, British Columbia Archives, Royal BC Museum Corporation, appeared in Searcher: The Magazine for Database Professionals, Volume 12, Number 8, September 2004. Part 2 will be published in October and part 3 I believe in November. David Mattison is a prolific writer and quite the expert at combing the web for high quality information.
