I've used Inmagic's DB/TextWorks s/w for a small library catalog, but it's a bit pricey. For a cheap solution see NYPL's s/w at http://store.yahoo.com/lshop/yoholi.html
i have 45,000 volumes in my automated catalogue, winnebago, now part of the company sagebrush. It is not perfect by any means but it is quite inexpensive. Mote Marine Library down here in
