Hello,
 
I hope some of you academic and research librarians out there can help with a patron request we've received...
 
A patron has asked for some basic biographical information about a sculptor named Karl Illava (ILLAVA).  (This website:  http://www.angelfire.com/ny3/roughnecks/monument.html
shows a WWI monument of his in Central Park.)  The patron is also specifically trying to find out why the memorial sculpture he had planned for Camp Wadsworth in South Carolina fell through.  Was it installed elsewhere, or perhaps never built at all?
 
Any guidance or information you can provide would be most appreciated.
