I am pleased to announce that Heather Topcik has been appointed Chief
Librarian at the Bard Graduate Center for Studies in the Decorative Arts.  
After three years as the BGC’s Reference Librarian she is eager to embrace
the challenges of this position.   
Her appointment marks the end of my administrative responsibilities at the
BGC. However, until the staff roster is again complete, I have agreed to
continue helping out on a limited, part-time basis.   
Please join me in congratulating Heather.
