JSTOR, a not-for-profit digital archive of academic journals, has recently signed an agreement with the Journal of Architectural Education to archive its back run and make it available to the JSTOR public.  A crucial part of the digitization process is securing hard copies of all the back issues in JAE's run.  JSTOR has consulted with the publisher and with various commercial back issue vendors to acquire as much of the back run as possible, but there is still a substantial portion outstanding.  Currently JSTOR needs:

JOURNAL OF ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION: JAE (ISSN: 1046-4883)

Volumes (Dates)

37-44 (1984-1990/1991)

46.3 (1993)

53.3 (2000)

JAE (ISSN: 0149-2993)

[previous title of Journal of Architectural Education: JAE]

Volumes (Dates)

29-37 (1975-1983)

JOURNAL OF ARCHITECTURAL EDUCATION (ISSN: 0047-2239)

[previous title of JAE]

Volumes (Dates)

1-28 (1947-1974/1975)

JSTOR would appreciate offers to sell, loan or donate any or all of these volumes.  JSTOR will cover the cost of shipping volumes to our Ann Arbor office and then, for loaned volumes, returning them to the lender.  JSTOR needs to disbind all issues so that individual pages can be fed into the scanning equipment.  However, JSTOR will rebind loaned volumes prior to returning them and will cover these costs as well.
