Thanks to the speedy work of Nedda Ahmed, the Society's new web editor, the
June issue of Update is now available on the "members only" section of the
ARLIS/NA web site. The issue features a version of Jeanne Brown's inaugural
remarks at the conference membership meeting, reports from the Museum
Libraries and Visual Resources divisions, the Architecture and Cataloging
sections, and the Serials Round Table, as well as columns covering the
activities of the Mountain West chapter and a Bibliohgraphic Notes column
including Sandra Cowan's bibliography on artists' information needs and
information seeking behavior and Vibiana Bowman's detailed listings of web
sites on the legal protection of cultural artifacts, as well as a few
suggested readings collected by Jennifer Hehman, the Bib Notes editors. Thanks
to the contributors; happy reading to all!
