This afternoon I chatted very briefly on the phone with Dr.John Larsen, who is one of the founding members of ARLIS/NA. Evidently about two weeks ago after he had suffered a stroke which impaired the use of his right arm, he was obliged to move from his condo unit to a nearby assisted-living facility on the north side of Baltimore. Even though his eyesight is also beginning to fail, he told me that he still enjoyed receiving postcards and talking on the telephone.
