Vanessa Kam, "Cultural Calamities: Damage Done to Iraq's Museums, Libraries, and Archaeological Sites During the United States-Led War on Iraq," p.4-11, in v.23 #1, Spring 04 issue of Art Documentation is a useful summary of the situation of museums and other cultural institutions in Iraq up to December 2003. The illustrated article also cites many useful websites on various issues in relation to the damage to cultural artifacts and institutions in Iraq.
