Hello everyone, During the conference I heard many people voice concerns over the decrease in our membership. Also, on the listserv, many people have been discussing ways to recruit new librarians and students. I recently participated in a local library school's Careers Night. Wouldn't opportunities like this one be a great way to reach out & create ARLIS awareness? Many other organizations had tables with eye-catching displays, posters, and hand-outs (even give-away trinkets!)--does ARLIS have anything similar? If not, should we? Just a suggestion. -- Nedda H.
