Dear Linda
Are the drawings numbered, starting with "RS"? We are trying to solve a
mystery here and there is some coincidence. Our mystery is a set of glossy
black and white photographs of 15th century drawings. We thought, at
first, these were part of the Devonshire collection distributed by the
Courtauld Institute. None of these exist in the published catalogues of
the Devonshire collection. So, we are looking at Alinari as another
possibility. We acquired them in 1976.
The plot thickens.
All the best
Diana
