I realize this is a long shot, but
hey! -- Do any of you have a librarian acquaintance in the Santa Barbara
area who might donate a couple of hours a week volunteering in the
Santa Barbara Art Museum Library? We are desperate to handle a
backlog of copy cataloging and other library related tasks in which a
librarian's knowledge would be helpful. I'd like to say I'd pay
transportation from, say, Wisconsin or Maine, but....
The reason I think this wild
request might bear fruit is that I began as a volunteer there before being
hired. Maybe there's someone else like me enjoying their retirement or in
between career moves etc.
