Finland: Study tour, 11-14 May 2004

Generously hosted by our colleagues in ARLIS/Norden, Finland, the study tour

libraries in this fascinating country.

Finland is a technologically advanced country with a proud cultural history.
The Finnish respect for clarity of form and use of natural materials is
evident in its architecture and design. The study tour will be based in
Helsinki, a dynamic international city brimming with museums and galleries,
chosen as one of the Cultural Capitals of Europe in 2000.

The schedule of visits can be tailored to the interests of delegates but
