The Dianne & Michael Bienes Special Collections & Rare Book Library
(Ft. Lauderdale, FL)

is pleased to offer a two-day workshop on:

ARTISTS' BOOKS: STRUCTURE AND CONTENT

(The workshop will focus on uniting book structures with appropriate content to create dynamic works of visual art. Participants will look at a variety of artists' books and analyze the relationship between from and content; and will make and examine blank bindings as a way to inspire ideas.
Finally, each participant will work with photocopies of her/his own images and text, with the goal of creating a first draft, or prototype, of an artists' book).
