Library Information Systems - Applications Systems Analyst
Working under the supervision of the Head of Library Information
Systems, this position is responsible for the day-to-day operation,
maintenance, troubleshooting, and support of Voyager ILS system.
Functions as principal point of contact for all Voyager system
issues and questions; leads and participates in committees and
working groups to analyze and determine manual and automated workflow
practices and procedures; liaison with external library community
and Endeavor Users Group. Position will also work closely with
Library Information Systems and Digital Resource Management
staffs in digital library projects, especially those involving
integration of ILS resources and databases.
2-5 years experience with Integrated Library Systems (preferably
Voyager); MLS degree or equivalent; strong troubleshooting skills
in a client-server environment; experience with web based OPACs;
basic SQL understanding; MARC records and technical services;
and using unix from the shell prompt; knowledge of HTML and web
technology; basic programmming skills with knowledge of Perl
