VERTICAL FILE NEEDS NEW HOME

I am looking for an appropriate institution to which to give a vertical file compiled by a California art school over the last 50 years.   It measures 130 linear feet (including the file folders that enclose each catalogue).   30% consists of group exhibition catalogues organized alphabetically by title.  70% is artist files.  Of the latter, physically half is catalogues over 16 pp. but under 125 pp. and half is small catalogues, announcements, and clippings.  (Total catalogues above 16 pp = approx. 7000.)  The material is contained in 8  3-drawer file cabinets and about 70 file boxes.   It is organized.  Artists are filed alphabetically by last name, and general catalogues are filed alphabetically by title.  Most of the catalogues are on the subject of twentieth century European and American art with emphasis on art since 1945.   Material pertaining to California artists has been removed.  There is a smattering of material on crafts, Asian art, and "Primitive" art.  It is clearly something for a research institution of interest primarily to specialists in art history or to art collectors and dealers.  It would be a good starter collection for a recently-founded serous institution devoted to European/American modernism of the last 50 years.  I would prefer a specialty library that would take the whole collection but would consider breaking it up.  I would like it to go where it will be catalogued and the catalogue will be available on line. Preference would be for a California institution.
