The Bienes Center for the Literary Arts is tentatively planning a retrospective exhibition of the art and life of the Czech paper engineer/graphic designer/artist/architect, Vojtech Kubasta (1914-1992), for January - March 2005. The Center is trying to identify Czech scholars/art historians who might be interested in contributing an essay (not necessarily about Kubasta but rather about the times in which he lived) to the exhibition catalog and helping with translations. If you know of someone who might be interested in working on the project, please contact me off list. James A.
