Dear Colleagues,
Eric Schwab, Susan Jane Williams, and I are pleased to announce some
changes in the staffing of the Knight Visual Resources Facility at Cornell
University.
First of all, Eric Schwab has accepted a position as Manager of AV and
Imaging Services at the Ontario College of Art and Design in Toronto. His
last day at Cornell will be on February 12; he begins at his new position
on March 1. We will all miss Eric here at Cornell, and wish him well as he
heads north into an even colder, snowier climate. We know that the Ontario
College of Art and Design is fortunate indeed in acquiring this particular
new colleague.
Cornell University is particularly lucky to have enticed Susan Jane
Williams to join our staff on very short notice. She will officially begin
her duties as Acting Assistant Director in the Knight Visual Resources
Facility on February 2. Of course, she will immediately be pressed into
service to help us with our campus wide initiative to make our Luna Insight
image browser a true resource for our faculty and students. We all look
forward to working with and learning from Susan.
So while it is very hard to bid farewell to Eric, we heartily welcome Susan
Jane.
