Explore Portland, Oregon

Join use in March for the VRA Conference and explore the architecture, bridges, parks, fountains, and artwork of the "City of Roses".  Your local committee has planned fun and informative walking tours to explore the past, the present, and the future of this vibrant city.  Portland's city streets are half-size city blocks prompting Portland's selection in 1998 as one of America's best walking towns by Walking Magazine.  Wear comfortable shoes, bring a camera, maybe an umbrella, and step back through over 150 years of  "Stumptown" history.

Discover why Money Magazine named Portland one of the most "Enlightened Towns" in the United States.  As we witness the old and the new, you will see why we are generally recognized as a leader in urban planning and a paradise for walking, bicycling, skating, gardening and shopping.

For tour  descriptions, images and links, we encourage you to visit the conference website http://www.vraweb.org/VRAPortland/index.html. If you have any questions about our tours please contact Jeanne Keefe ([log in to unmask]) or your local arrangements committee members.   We look forward to exploring Portland with you!
