Dear Colleagues, We are now using /Voyager/ software as our integrated library system and are considering implementing the circulation module. Bar coding is part of this implementation process and we would like to hear from our museum library colleagues if you are indeed bar coding your Library collections. If so, exactly where do you place the bar code on your books and periodicals? Top of back cover? Inside of back cover? Are you bar coding artists' files and other ephemeral materials? If so, how? Are you using bar codes that have been approved by your preservation staff? If so, who is the vendor who makes them? Your responses would be very much appreciated! Best, Deirdre -- Deirdre E.
