Announcing the fall meeting of the DC/MD/VA chapter of ARLIS/NA.
 
The chapter officers are pleased to announce that the National Museum of Women in the Arts in Washington, D.C. will host the meeting Friday, November 7th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.  Members should gather in the main entrance of the museum, which is located at 1250 New York Ave., N.W. A map and directions can be viewed at: www.nmwa.org/about/getting.asp <http://www.nmwa.org/about/getting.asp> .  A listing of nearby sandwich shops and restaurants will be provided at the meeting. ** Chapter Note cards are available for $4.00 a pack (8 cards plus envelopes). The program of events will include:
1.       A recap of the 2003 Annual Conference held in Baltimore, M.D. 
2.       Solicitation for ideas and location of future meetings. 
3.       Nominations for Vice President/President-elect. 
4.       Volunteers for Newsletter Editor. 
5.       The Annual Membership drive. 
6.       Financial report. 
7.       Tours of current exhibitions of the host museum including: Insomnia: Landscapes of the Night; Enterprising Women: 250 Years of American Business; and Passionate Observer: Photographs by Eudora Welty.
