The Saint Louis Art Museum is seeking a Technical Services Librarian. The position requires a Master’s Degree in Library Science from an ALA-accredited institution, two years cataloging experience, including experience cataloging in an automated environment, knowledge of AACR2r, LCSH, LC classification and US MARC formats, ability to catalog in two European languages.  Familiarity with RLIN database, background in Art History, experience with interlibrary loan systems and operations of technical services is preferred.  This position is responsible for planning and coordinating libraries’ technical services activities, including cataloging and authority work, post-cataloging technical processing and stack maintenance, is technical liaison to St. Louis Research Libraries Consortium, helps maintain the libraries’ Innovative Interfaces, Inc. integrated online library system.
