Hello Collective ARLIS Wisdom.
I have a patron trying to locate an exhibition catalog on the artist E.
Ambrose Webster, issued by the Brooks Reed Gallery in Boston,
either in 1915 or 1916. The catalog was authored by Charles Hovey Pepper,
artist and collector.
The patron indicates they have been to the Archives of American Art, Boston
Public Library, and other sites to find this catalog.
She has had no luck thus far.
We are trying at this point to find out if there is an archive of Charles
Hovey Pepper or E. Ambrose Webster where she might locate the catalog. I
have searched OCLC and the LC Catalogs to no avail.
Any tips on a search strategy or any specific information you can provide
to assist this researcher would be greatly appreciated.
