Dear colleagues, A scholar, who is editing a medieval text for publication, used the online TLG (Thesaurus Linguae Graeca) to check his research on an hapax legomena and other rare words. Consequently, he would like to cite the TLG search results in his publications, but he does not know how. We know the standards for citing various internet resources (such as publications, websites, etc.), but we are at a loss how to cite searches, so I'm hoping that one of you may have a suggestion (perhaps having fielded such a query before). We do not have not the most recent edition of the Chicago Manual of Style, but I found nothing related to this particular problem online. Thank you in advance for any assistance! Sincerely, Deborah Brown Bibliographer/Research Services Librarian for Byzantine Studies Dumbarton Oaks __________________________________________________________________ Mail submissions to [log in to unmask] For information about joining ARLIS/NA see: http://www.arlisna.org//membership.html Send administrative matters (file requests, subscription requests, etc) to [log in to unmask] ARLIS-L Archives and subscription maintenance: http://lsv.uky.edu/archives/arlis-l.html Questions may be addressed to list owner (Kerri Scannell) at: [log in to unmask]
