This seems like a good opportunity to introduce myself as the new Head Librarian at SFMOMA as I just responded to an inquiry about artists’ books and some observant readers may have noticed the email signature! 

 

Although I have only been in place for 5 weeks (almost!), I am thrilled to be at SFMOMA’s Research Library.  The position has been open for a couple of years following Eugenie Candau’s retirement.  She was the librarian here for 35 years, leaving an amazing legacy for which I now have the honor of continuing.  I look forward to doing so every day.
